A Ghanaian judge was killed in Mecca, Saudi Arabia during this yearâ€™s Hajj, it has been reported.
Police in Saudi Arabia are said to be investigating the death of Justice Mohammed Goodman Nabon, who was knocked down by a car.
Justice Goodman Nabon, 59, Â was among over four thousand Ghanaians who embarked on this yearâ€™s pilgrimage to Mecca.
The death of Justice Nabon brings to five the number of Ghanaians who have died during this yearâ€™s pilgrimage.
Amin Lamptey, deputy Communications Director for the Hajj committee told Accra-based Starr FM that the Saudi government was still investigating how the 59-year-old Kumasi High Court judge was knocked down by the car.
The judge, according to reports, has since been buried in accordance with Islamic customs.
