The Bono Ahafo Regional Manager of Presbyterian Schools, Mr. Daniel Hiennu Yeboah has organized a seminar for head teachers in the Berekum zone. Participants came from Jinjini, Wamfie, and Seikwa among others. The objective of that workshop was to introduce head teachers to their situational leadership roles to enhance the growth of their respective schools. Speaking at the event, Mr. Yeboah Daniel said head teachers must endeavor to segregate their leadership abilities in order to handle different scenarios. He urged the head teachers to be versatile so as to address issues at hand. He commended the wonderful work they are doing and encouraged them to do more. Apart from applauding the teachers, the regional manager appealed for help in the financing of developmental projects initiated in some deprived schools. He mentioned Mpatasie Presbyterian School in Berekum which will present candidates for Basic Education Certificate Examination but unfortunately do not have classrooms to accommodate them.Â Â He also mentioned Techiman and Hausa Kope schools which had their roofs ripped off negatively affecting theâ€™â€™ teaching learningâ€™â€™. The regional manager praised the governmentâ€™s school feeding programme. He further expressed concern over the indifference of some guardians towards education. He cited instances where parents cannot establish cordial relationship to know the needs of the children. He therefore pleaded for the total involvement to help Education Authorities develop their children.
