YOUTH URGED TO FOCUS ON HARDWORK

The Sunyani branch Manager of Zenith Bank, Michael, Ofori Kumi has noted writing or authorship is very difficult, he therefore urged Ghanaians especially the youth to support writers by buying books and reading to imbibe the knowledge in them.  He was speaking at the launching of a book titled “Catching the Employer’s Eye”, authored by Ernest Yengblang Bota, who is the CEO of Vision Way Organization.  The book is basically a guide on how to behave during job interviews. The book which is the second by the author ties in with his vision of empowering the youth to make their lives better. Mr. Ofori Kumi, commended the author for the book since a lot more Ghanaians should be writing but are put off by how difficult it is.  A Pastor from the Calvary Charismatic Centre, Roger Ohene Frimpong, also encouraged Vision Way on its path of youth empowerment and urged them to persevere despite the challenges that is about to come their way.  The CEO of Vision Way and author of the just launched book, Ernest Yengbalang Bota, said he was inspired by the mistakes job seekers make at job interviews and wrote the book, “Catching the Eye of the Employer” to help improve the situation. He urged the youth not to be discouraged by the challenging economic times and rather focus on hard work to safeguard their future.  He stressed that his purpose in life now is to equip the youth to achieve greater heights.  Mr. Bota revealed that since he started Vision Way, he has spoken to 25 000 people and the feed-back suggests that an impact is being made so far as youth empowerment goes.  A Lecturer at Sunyani Polytechnic, Madam Vida Mintah, for her part, urged the youth to take advantage of any opportunity to learn since in recent times there are too many half-baked professionals in the system.
